Coaches come together to support Relay for Life
Laurel football coach Todd Breland, Northeast Jones football coach Keith Braddock, South Jones football coach Chet Bergalowski and West Jones football coach Scott Pierson are never on the same sidelines at the same time, but for the second consecutive year all four coaches will be at the same venue on the same night.
The four coaches will be at the 2013 Coaches Joining for a Cause event at FIrst Baptist Church in Laurel on Monday, July 22, to help support Jones County Relay For Life. All four men participated in last year's event as well.
The coaches, along with administrators from their schools, will serve tables and refill drinks for the fans and supporters of their schools. Each coach will also speak to the crowd with their thoughts on the upcoming football season.
The guest speaker for the event will be Pinebelt FCA Director Mitch Williams. Laurel Leader-Call Sports Editor Josh Nichols will be the emcee for the event.
The 2013 Coaches Joining for a Cause will start at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 per person or $35 per couple. Tickets can be purchased through one of the coaches or by contacting Josh Nichols at (601) 649-9388.
